Introduction 

An Outline planning application for a residential development of up to 40 dwellings, associated infrastructure and landscaping, with vehicular access from Offenham Road, Evesham is being prepared. As part of this the views of local people are being sought on the proposals.  

Before the application is submitted to Wychavon District Council, we are seeking the views of the local

community on the draft proposals. 

This public consultation website has been created to present the draft proposals to the local community to

receive comments and views on the proposed development.

Site Location

The site for the proposed development is a triangular parcel of land to the northeast of Evesham, within the parish boundary of Badsey & Aldington. To the west the site is adjacent to the A46, to the south and east the site is adjacent to Offenham Road (B4510) and the northern boundary of the site lies adjacent to the Cotswold railway line.

The Proposals

The masterplan for the proposed development shows an area to provide up to 40 dwellings.

 

As shown on the illustrative masterplan the proposed development also includes a Local Equipped Area for

Play (LEAP), a proposed wildflower meadow, landscaping enhancements, drainage attenuation, foul water pumping station and vehicular access from Offenham Road.

 

The Concept Masterplan shows how the site could be laid out to accommodate the proposed development.

Context

The site extends to 0.82ha and is located to the northeast of Evesham, within the parish boundary of Badsey &

Aldington.

The site is proposed to meet the housing land supply shortfall of Wychavon District Council and will provide a range of affordable housing.
